1. All returns must be authorized by Max Customer Support.
2. Before returning product, obtain RMA # from Max Customer Support by calling (801) 328-0494.
3. Customer must provide the invoice number, date of purchase, and product code (part number) of items to be returned, and the reason for return. (Please keep a copy of your invoice in case a return is necessary.)
4. RMA numbers are valid for ten (10) business days from the date of issuance. Max must receive returns within that time. After ten days, a new RMA # must be obtained.
5. Products to be returned must be securely packaged, preferably in the original cartons. Freight and insurance are the responsibility of the customer. Customer assumes risk of loss or damage during shipment.
6. The RMA # must be clearly marked on the shipping label of each carton. (Do not put RMA # on product.) Packages without the RMA # on the outside will be refused.
7. Defective products being returned for repair/exchange must be returned with only the defective product. Do NOT return cables, manuals, etc. unless otherwise instructed - Fees may apply to re-ship returned items.
8. Max will either repair or replace any defective products. Upon receiving the products, they will be shipped out within 10 business days.
9. Product being returned for credit must be issued an RMA number and returned complete, including registration card and all accessories (cables, manuals, CDs, etc.) in original packaging.
- If you would like to return the product for credit and you are within the 30 day initial period, please download and complete this Request for Credit RMA Form (an Adobe Acrobat .pdf file; also available as an MS Word .doc file) and follow the instructions.
- Credit returns must have been purchased directly from Max, and must be within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Product must be in like-new resellable condition. All products will be inspected at our discretion, credit may be refused.
- Upon receiving the products, credit will be issued within five to ten business days. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. There will be a 10% restocking fee applied to all returns for credit.
10. The RMA policy applies only to hardware and defective software CDs. This policy does not apply to software. We will accept returns on software within 30 days of purchase ONLY if the installation CD seal has not been broken and the original retail packaging is in resellable condition.
*Max reserves the right to determine the validity of warranty for returned products.
