Wedding singer Robbie Hart gets dumped at the altar by his fiancée. He meets Julia, who is engaged to the wrong guy, and he falls in love with her. So he tries to figure out how he can make her realize what a jerk her fiancée, Glen, really is. Since Glen's way too busy making millions in junk bonds and fooling around on the side to help plan his own wedding, Julia turns to the heartbroken Robbie for help.
