The Not Ness Monster

Minogue and O'Leary head for the ocean when local fishermen and fisherwomen, including the Prime Minister's fiancé, start disappearing around Wellington Harbor at the same time as strangely localized seismic events. While Parker monitors the beach, the Paranormal Unit heads out on the harbor with wizened old Captain Quinn and his very small boat. As Maaka tells the Maori legend of two taniwha brothers who created Wellington Harbor, a blip appears on the sonar . . . It's a huge sea monster, and it seems to be heading right for the beach that Parker's staking out!

Fear the Briannas

A bag of chips literally flying out of a local grocery store leads the Paranormal Unit to track the culprits to St. Carrietta's, the old girls' high school Officer O'Leary attended as a teen. It seems three students with the same name have somehow acquired sinister magical powers after a mysterious explosion in the school library, which the principal is trying to cover-up. When a student informant gets attacked by a floating sewing machine, Minogue and O'Leary decide to try and tackle the teen witches head on. But they quickly learn that the girls have powers even stronger than magical ones. They know how to bully and some words really hurt.

Mt. Victoria Hooters

When Minogue and O’Leary enforce a police ban on hooting in the Mount Victoria Tunnel, they unwittingly release the ghost of an old police officer from the 1930s. Trapped there by decades of loud, hooting horns, he's finally able to go back on the beat when the tunnel goes silent. But this cop uses old-school methods, and he's not happy with 2019 Wellington having bars open 'til all hours and ladies with exposed ankles! Sergeant Maaka realizes the old copper is following his old beat so it's up to Minogue and O'Leary to track him down and prevent Wellington citizens from being fined and arrested for archaic crimes. But first, the cops will have to work out how to apprehend a ghost made entirely from car exhaust fumes.

Copy Cops

A dead cop turns up the police morgue that looks exactly like Minogue. But the real Minogue is very much alive. Surely that’s paranormal?! Minogue and O'Leary head to the creepy small town where the body was found and soon discover a local motel full of copies of our two favorite paranormal cops. But some of them do look a little . . . munted. In the exciting sequel to Series 1’s "Cop Circles" episode, Minogue and O'Leary, with the help of Sergeant Maaka, have to defeat a small army of alien copy cops from taking over New Zealand. Or at least the lower North Island.

The Haunting of the ’85 Nissan 300ZX ZR Turbo

When a boy racer's pride and joy, a restored 1985 2-door Nissan 300ZX ZR Turbo, simply drives out of his garage all by itself, Minogue and O'Leary investigate. They soon chase down the invisibly driven car, only to find a small cheeky kid behind the wheel. Case solved. But it turns out the kid was just a passenger, and the original owner, a deceased racer from the '80s, was the one driving. When car escapes again, the cops track down the original owner's old girlfriend, Sharon, to see if she's seen it. Sure enough, the spooky Nissan arrives with a toot of its horn and manages to abduct Sharon and the cops! Minogue and O'Leary have to convince the ghost not to write them all off as he hurtles towards the spot where he lost his license forever.

Mobots

A series of thefts of out-of-date phones and electrical goods leads Minogue and O'Leary to the center of the crime, which happens to be O'Leary's family home at the top of Mount Victoria, where her Mom still lives. During an overnight stakeout, a load of old analogue phones start vibrating into a giant robot serpent, which the cops have to play snake against to stop it. The phones escape, and Minogue and O, Leary are now trying to stop more newly formed old-tech robots, including one from old vape pens, from terrorizing the neighborhood. Things become serious when the little robots form into a giant robot next to the Mt. Vic radio tower. Stopping a giant robot from broadcasting its sinister message to all those old phones in your bottom drawer is not in the police handbook.

'Twas the Patrol Before Christmas

Minogue and O'Leary have to go on patrol on Christmas Eve so our cameras follow them as they respond to a number of call-outs that all just happen to have a paranormal element to them. Devilish shenanigans at a shopping mall Santa's grotto, mysteriously missing meat at a Christmas barbecue, presents escaping from their wrapping, and an interdimensional photocopier at an office Christmas party . . . All in an evening's work for our intrepid Paranormal cops!

The Invisible Fiend

After getting called out to a mysterious home invasion with no visible signs of entry, Minogue and O'Leary manage to arrest an invisible entity and bring it in for questioning. But thermal-vision goggles reveal the entity to be huge and monstrous, and it soon escapes custody after a violent struggle in the police station foyer. Parker gets some of the monster’s blood on him during the struggle and eventually turns invisible. Returning to the scene of the crime, the cops soon realize the creature is Daisy, the invisible monster friend of the homeowner's adorable 5-year-old daughter. Awkwardly, Parker’s invisibility soon wears off, revealing he’s naked. In Sarge's office, "It was really warm and no one could see me, so . . ."

Te Maero

A camper goes missing in the bush near Wellington, leaving a phone video showing him being abducted by something huge and hairy. Sergeant Maaka heads for the hills with his two lead officers to investigate (leaving behind a disappointed Parker). The cops meet Anton the bush ranger, who suggests a large monster could be on the loose. Sarge believes it to be a Maero, a Sasquatch-type creature from Maori mythology. After initially catching the over-keen Officer Parker in a hairy camouflage suit, Sarge's theory is proven correct when a huge Maero appears. Unfortunately, the cops can't catch him because they managed to handcuff themselves together after accidentally eating magic mushrooms. Oops.

Fear Factory

On patrol, Minogue and O'Leary find a series of people who've been attacked by their worst nightmares. The victims were at the same scary amusement house, The Fear Factory. The cops bring in the workers for questioning. It becomes clear that the manager is a shapeshifter as he appears as a giant spider to Sarge and scares his way out of the station. Minogue and O'Leary follow him to the Fear Factory, where the shapeshifter turns into Minogue's worst fears: public speaking, sock puppets and balloons. O'Leary says she's afraid of nothing -- until he turns into her mother. Amazingly, Officer Parker saves the day as he's afraid of everything and the shapeshifter can't process all the different fears, eventually turning into buttons, which Sarge simply collects in a jar.

The Sevens Ghosts

When a few local men dressed in stripy tops and beanies are abducted and freed by ghosts dressed in the same way, Sarge works out that they are ghostly Sevens rugby fans killed in a crash 20 years ago. Sevens rugby is a shorter game of rugby where fans dressed up in crazy costumes. The victims of the crash were dressed as Where’s Wally characters, or as Sarge prefers to call them, "Travelling Glasses Man." The night of the crash, the Wallies were looking for their mate dressed like them but crashed before they found him. After a Wally chases him through town, Minogue gets taken into the ghosts' van. O'Leary and Parker track down their missing mate. There's an emotional reunion, and the Wallies they find out that they actually dead. The cops send them to Hamilton where the tournament is now held.

The Revengers

The cops are first on scene at a meteorite strike that makes the locals in the street behave strangely. Minogue and O’Leary begin to encounter a restrained petty criminals talking of a group of older people with weird superpowers. Maaka and Parker's investigations into the meteor result in Parker developing magnetic power. Minogue and O'Leary end up in a face-off with the neighborhood watch superheroes -- The Revengers. Their superpowers relate to what they do -- Power Man, Cat Lady and Google Girl. Things aren't going well until Parker arrives and tries to harness his newly found magnetic powers but fails. A rejected neighborhood watch member arrives with sprinkler powers. He battles with Power Man, resulting in a huge explosion that reverses everyone’s the superpowers.

Fatberg

Minogue and O'Leary investigate a gas station where four people have gone missing in a car wash. The cops drive into the car wash and see a people-absorbing blob. The cops escape and check out the area and soon rescue a local who got sucked down his toilet. Sergeant Maaka studies a piece of the blob and reveals that it's made of the congealed fat from households -- it's a fatberg! Minogue and O'Leary go to search the sewers and find the fatberg, which abducts their cameraman and chases them. They escape through a manhole next to a fish-and-chip shop that could be the source of all the fat. However, the fatberg comes out of the chippie and absorbs more locals. In the explosive climax, Sergeant Maaka and Officer Parker race in to save the day with some confiscated fireworks.

Bird Woman

Minogue and O'Leary are called out to an apartment where the owner's chandelier has been stolen by some sort of flying creature. The cops soon learn that all sorts of shiny objects have been stolen from around the city, including the iconic "W" from the Wellington sign next to the airport. With the discovery of a giant feather, the Paranormal Unit call in the aid of Beverly Hatupatu, an expert in endangered bird species.

The Wicked Man

The Wellington Police receive a sinister Snapchat clip of young Sophie Wilks that was found on the mysterious Sales Island. It seems to show she's in some sort of danger so with the help of their old friend Captain Quinn, Minogue and O'Leary are dispatched to the island to canvas locals as to her whereabouts. Making the investigation difficult though, is the fact that the island is populated by a weird, old-fashioned cult lead by the matronly Avalon, aka "Mama," who has made sure no one talks to the officers. Not only that, but all the cult members look much older than they actually are. But things take a turn for the sinister when Avalon uses an old VHS to try to hypnotize our hapless cops.

The Coolening

During a talk to a room full of bored high-school students, Minogue and O'Leary are distracted by a commotion outside. They find the headmistress not only confiscating a non-uniform jacket from a student but wearing it herself and behaving in a way that can only be described as "cool." The cops seize the jacket and realize it has some sort of supernatural power that makes you want to wear it at all costs. Minogue and O'Leary soon find themselves competing to wear the jacket around the station, desperate to appear cool for the first time in their lives.

Skeleton Crew

Noisy workmen disrupt a police briefing, so Sarge and the Paranormal Unit investigate. They find a crypt underneath the station filled with the graves of deceased people with very white-sounding names. Sarge calls it a Pakeha burial ground -- a resting place for Caucasian people. A little later, the station is lashed by a violent storm while the paranormal cops do the overnight skeleton shift. Strange things start happening, like the photocopier demanding more blood and a ghostly face appears coming out of Minogue's computer. The last straw comes when some sort of entity locks down the station door, trapping the cops inside. Sarge decides to hold a seance, and they soon realize that a ghost has managed to sneak into the station via the Wi-Fi modem.

Who the Hell?

While out on night patrol, Minogue and O'Leary see a pedestrian who seems to be carrying an enormous rock. It soon becomes clear that the rock is to stop the soulless-looking man from floating away. Just then a courier van speeds past, damaging their new patrol car and forcing the cops to split up for the first time. O'Leary then hears a scream and finds a man being persecuted by adoring fans because he can't stop rocking out on his guitar. Minogue discovers that the courier van is being driven by a woman who seems to have lost track of her head. While all this is going on, Parker is assigned a new partner in the form of Officer Sainsbury and is casually informed that all of Parker’s partners have died horrible and mysteriously unrelated deaths.

Time Cop: Not To Be Confused With the Jean-Claude Van Damme One

The entire Paranormal Unit and most of the Wellington Police are on "Operation Skate Bait" in Upper Hutt, designed to put an end to noisy skateboarding in the area. During all this, Minogue and O'Leary chase an offending skateboarder who is being chased by some sort of terrifying worm creature. But by the time they get to him, the creature has drained the youth out of the young skater and smashed a hole in the fabric of space time. Minogue and O'Leary step through the hole to give chase but can find no sign of it. What they take a long time to realize is that they have gone back in time to 1994, but being Upper Hutt, not a lot has changed.
