While the crew works the set of the hit series Chicago Shields, Turner teams up with her old bestie Brenda, now the show's star, to take a Ferris Bueller-style day off. Later, Goodnight helps a production assistant track the girls' whereabouts, while K workshops his debut novel.

Life of an Ottoman

After Simon and K repo an ottoman that's been in the system for decades, the Rent-T-Own team looks back at the footstool's journey, from its humble origins in the early '90s, through Q's ill-fated Y2K-era foot modeling career, and beyond.

Chicago's #1 Party Promoter

As the community reels from the loss of beloved party promoter Shake Williams, Travis and the Bus Down Boys vie for their place in the sun. Later, Simon works on his nighttime side hustle, Turner tries her best to get freaky with the funeral director, and Shake gets lit one last time.

After an ill-fated stunt at his son's swimming lesson, Simon takes drastic measures to address his hang-ups, prompting the other members of the Rent-T-Own team to face their own phobias. Meanwhile, an uptick in clown-related cases causes Turner and Goodnight to face their own fears.

Tensions rise as the residents of the 51st Ward take refuge inside Rent-T-Own during a freak storm. Meanwhile, Turner works on perfecting a problematic church play, Simon and K reckon with a risky repo, and Q and Stacy deal with the meltdown of RTO’s Soviet-era computer system.

Turner's attempt to revive her stagnant social life turns into a side-hustle when she accidentally starts Chicago's sauciest Sip N' Paint night. Meanwhile, Allen's fight for longer breaktimes gets the attention of the city's most powerful politicians, putting his newfound popularity at risk.

Sarcophacouch

As the residents of Englewood prep for the upcoming Juke-A-Thon, Stacy and Turner clash over coaching styles. Then, Q gets ready to unveil his magnum opus -- the four-dimensional Sarcophacouch -- leaving Simon in charge of the store. Meanwhile, Goodnight struggles to get a good night's sleep.

Heartless

After learning the shocking truth about Greg the Marine's past, Q enlists Simon and K's help evading the long hand of the law. Meanwhile, Sergeant Turner and Officer Goodnight embark on a city-wide search for their stolen squad car.

College

Presented with a mentoring opportunity, Simon sets out to convince a group of high school students to ditch their college dreams. Meanwhile, Turner tries to prove that the frosting company Goodnight's wife, Kitty, works for is actually a dangerous cult.

The Laughter

With a masked vigilante on the loose, Goodnight springs into action to protect Chicago's network of rental store chains. Meanwhile, as Simon enlists K's help burying a connection to his past, Alderman Gayle finds himself the target of a dangerous foe.

South Suburbs

After venturing to the suburbs to celebrate her birthday, Turner lands in the middle of a dispute between her long-estranged parents ... and Sheldon. Meanwhile, Simon and K find themselves playing a risky game during a visit to a local real estate magnate's McMansion.

The Spirit of Kwanzaa

After Alderman Gayle announces the 51st Ward's first Kwanzaa Film Festival, several members of the Rent-T-Own squad are inspired to get creative for a shot at the cash prize. While Stacy perfects her script for an "unscripted" reality series, Simon and K prepare a Kwanzaa-fied installment of the Ukulele Barbados franchise.

DJ Alderman

Despite his district's mounting pothole problems, Alderman Gayle turns his attentions away from his duties ... and toward his newfound DJ career. Then, as Turner attempts to pry a book of tips for criminals out of Goodnight's clutches, Simon and K take over the 51st Ward as part of the so-called "U Run Ur Hood" program.

Super Speed

After finding a pair of super-powered jumpsuits, Simon and K look to save the city. Later, while Goodnight and Kitty try to spice up their marriage, Turner's search for a lost bandana leads her to a cutthroat '90s hip-hop trivia night. Then, Stacy finds love of her own at a speed-dating event.

Littlepalooza

Following an incident involving NBA All-Star Steph Curry, Q attempts to lure Simon and K out of hiding. Back at Rent-T-Own, a robot "murder" investigation leads Turner to Chicago's biggest music festival -- and rapper Cordae. Meanwhile, Goodnight finds himself emceeing an event of his own.
