The Bridge

Eight strangers from across the UK -- who have no idea what they've signed up for -- arrive at one of the 1,600 uninhabited islands in Vietnam's Hạ Long Bay. Welcomed by host AJ Odudu and survival expert Aldo Kane, the contestants are given just 12 days to construct a 1,000-foot bridge for a chance at £200,000. But little do they know that another team is hard at work on the other side of the beach hoping to win the very same prize.

The Mole

After being separated from their groups, two members from each beach face an impossible choice: they must designate one as team captain and send the other home immediately. But just as two contestants prepare to leave, a game-changing opportunity arises to infiltrate the rival camp. Meanwhile, two other teammates discover an unexpected romantic connection.

The Race

With only eight days remaining in the competition, tensions run high as North and South Beach struggle to offset the moles' damage. Then, just as both teams regain their footing, each learns that they're not the only ones vying for the prize money.

The Fight

Now more than halfway into the competition, both teams suffer setbacks from the tropical weather conditions and rough tides -- and the lingering shock of discovering the rival team. Then, as one group questions their leadership, both teams come together for the first time to compete for a major advantage.

The Test

As tension over leadership mounts, North Beach considers whether it's too late in the game for a vote of no confidence. Then, after Aldo grants both teams permission to build beyond daylight hours, the captains are forced to make an impossible choice.

The Betrayal

While Crystal debates whether she made the right choice, new contestant Gail joins the game just as immense fatigue washes over both teams. Then, the remaining contestants are presented with an opportunity to leave early -- with some of the prize money.

The Sacrifice

With only a few days remaining, both teams find themselves near their breaking points -- only to be tempted with a taste of home at a grave cost. Meanwhile, North Beach struggles to close the gap in the aftermath of David's sabotage, and, later, both captains square off for a chance to return with a desirable new teammate.

After 12 grueling and intense days, countless surprise twists and one unforgettable experience, which team will be the first to construct and traverse their 1,000-foot bridge -- and who will be chosen to bring home the prize money?
