Understand the Assignment

In an unexpected first challenge to narrow the field from 12 to 10, three designers must prove they have what it takes to stay in the competition. Then, the designers are given 24 hours to convey their own unique perspective on luxury streetwear to impress style icon Law Roach and guest Co-Signers 24kGoldn and season one finalist Kai Nguyen.

Tasked with revamping the preppy fashion trend, the designers must hone their distinct creative vision to create a fresh take on the iconic look. As the contestants prepare to model their own work, fashion innovator Angelo Baque drops by to offer a chance at a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration

Board Meeting

The contestants hit the skate park to grind out outfits for pro-skaters that blend natural street style with mobility and comfort. But while a visit from skate icon Paul Rodriguez provides the designers with invaluable advice, rising tensions in the Hype Quarters threaten to derail the competition

Marathon x The Hype

Inspired by the legacy of artist and activist Nipsey Hussle and his iconic Marathon Clothing brand, the designers channel their hometown pride to create staple items that pay homage to their communities. With Marathon’s Blacc Sam and BH on hand for a potentially career-changing collaboration, the stakes for success have never been higher.

Offset Your Fam

The contestants are placed in pairs for one of their most intimidating challenges yet: designing complementary outfits for three of Offset’s children. Despite having their models swing by to provide the designers with much-needed guidance, failures in communication prove that these kids know how to dress fresh

The Game Before The Game

When NBA style icon Shai Gilgeous-Alexander swings by the studio, it’s up to the designers to create a fly pre-game ‘fit worthy of his elevated personal style – but only some contestants manage to slam-dunk on the competition.

From the Block to the Blockchain

Immersing themselves in the metaverse, the semi-finalists must create two distinct t-shirts: one for the real world and the other as a unique NFT design. After receiving advice from digital wearables pioneer Bobby Hundreds and the legendary Dapper Dan, the designers draw inspiration from their own lives to help secure a spot in the finale.

The Final Drop x Street Party

With the final competition on the line, the remaining contestants must impress the Co-Signers with a cohesive and impactful lookbook. Later, Law Roach returns to dole out his styling wisdom before the finalists debut their full collections to the Co-Signers and Rhuigi Villaseñor in an edge-of-your-seat final drop.
